Overview (Text Only) As a Marketing Specialist you will support many elements of both our brand offense and our marketing offense by partnering with some of our iconic brands including Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Asics, Puma, Under Armour, Jordan along with many other world-famous brands. Reporting to APAC’s Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in partner relationships and the use and maximisation of marketing assets across our site, store, social, media and digital touchpoints. You will have a knack for social and youth media consumption, where the deployment of assets on socials and in media campaigns, in collaboration with our social and media teams, will be a key element of your role. A passion for marketing insights and consolidating these learnings will create awesome opportunities for you. Responsibilities Support with asset scheduling as well as social roadmap content planning, updates and execution, along with input towards the creation of social ideas. Assist with executing co-op marketing events across in-store, online, digital campaigns and advertising touchpoints. Tracking of budgets and expenses. Assist with securing incremental funding from brand partners by providing source and synthesise insights, best practice and case studies leveraging off your internal and external stakeholders. Spot and report on insights for reporting in collaboration with your colleagues. Be across briefs and execution of marketing initiatives in partnership with media, social, brand, design and digital teams. Support with basic copywriting on Foot Locker brand campaign needs. Support the ‘sell’ of ideas and solutions that are tight to Foot Locker brand intentions, smart media and creative production strategies. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in marketing, advertising, design or media (ideal) Two (2) + years’ professional marketing experience Competent in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Experience with invoicing and budget tracking Competence with the use of marketing software (e.g. asset management, project management and content publishing tools) Understanding of analytics tools Highly organised and ability to manage projects at various stages within a fast-paced environment Passion for youth culture, sneaker culture and basketball.
