Gensler’s Middle East Region is seeking a creative, motivated and highly collaborative individual to join our team as a Marketing Specialist. You will support our go-to-market strategies by delivering targeted content that positions the firm to win new work. Deliverables include qualifications, proposals, presentations, thought leadership pieces, as well as event activation, awards submissions and social media content.
You will be successful because you are a skilled storyteller and can work in creative tools, including InDesign and Microsoft tools. You will be able to demonstrate strong writing skills and graphic design sensibilities and have impeccable organization and project management skills. You will join a team of like-minded content marketers with a passion and talent for telling Gensler best-of stories about the power of design.

What You will Do
Working with Principals and senior staff to design, write and produce proposals, presentations and other marketing collateral in alignment with Gensler’s brand standards.Researching and identifying potential project opportunities by monitoring tender portals, client websites, and industry news.Developing bid strategies and coordinating the preparation of high-quality bid submissions.Gathering and organizing all relevant bid documentation, including architectural plans, specifications, and other project details.Coordinating and writing compelling and persuasive bid content, highlighting Gensler’s capabilities, expertise, and unique selling points.Updating and maintaining information within the firm’s database and CRM toolsParticipating in and championing strategy and planning sessionsFacilitating workshops and strategy meetings that support the firm’s positioning and visibility in the marketCoordinating business development activities, including researching incoming leads, following up and tracking their status and developing new materials to support business development activitiesCoordinating various PR activities such as internally hosted events, external speaking engagements, award submissions and media outreachUnderstanding Gensler’s evolving portfolio of work, practice areas, firm capabilities and service offeringsLiaising internally with Gensler’s regional and firmwide marketing community to bring a local perspective to global messaging and publications and adapting global content for local/regional relevance, as neededWorking with the studios to coordinate photo shoots of completed projectsWriting case stories on Gensler’s projects and bios on Gensler’s peopleAssisting with external awards submissions and public speaking content developmentAssisting with social media strategy and managementManaging other responsibilities, as assignedYour Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a marketing position with a design or professional services firmDegree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design or related fieldExperience delivering significant marketing projects independently, coaching colleagues for presentations and working closely with Principals and other senior staff on marketing strategy and deliverablesExcellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to craft a story in a compelling manner, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateralStrong interpersonal skills – a great collaboratorExperience working directly with senior staff on business-critical projects with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills and an ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlinesAbility to work with diverse project teams in a fast-paced work environmentA high degree of competency in InDesign is a mustProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a plusPhotography coordination/curation and digital asset management knowledge preferredExperience working with Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plusExperience in the A/E/C or property industry is a plus; experience in an architecture or design firm is especially valuableLife at Gensler
