Marketing Specialist

Job Overview:

South Central Regional Medical Center is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded marketer with a strong creative flair, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for both advertising strategy and design. This role will primarily focus on the development and execution of print and digital advertising campaigns, as well as handling the majority of graphic design responsibilities across various platforms. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Ad Coordination

Plan, develop, and execute print and digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (social media, display advertising, email marketing, search advertising, print publications, etc.).  Coordinate with local print publication representatives to submit ads.  Conduct market research and analyze trends to optimize campaign performance and achieve marketing objectives.  Monitor campaign metrics and provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations for ongoing improvement. 

Graphic Design

Create visually compelling graphics for digital and print materials including social media graphics, banners, brochures, flyers, presentations, etc.  Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and ensure designs align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.  Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.  Ability to capture and edit photo and video content to support our Digital Content Coordinator. 

Content Creation

Develop creative content ideas and collaborate with marketing team members to produce engaging visuals that resonate with the target audience.  Develop creative content that is aligned with South Central’s brand identity.  

Team Collaboration

Work closely with other members of the marketing team and internal audiences who request materials to be designed.   Complete requests submitted by internal audiences in a professional and timely manner.  

Continuous Improvement 

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continually improve campaign effectiveness and design quality.  Implement A/B testing and other techniques to optimize ad performance and user engagement. 

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.  Google AdWords Certification a plus   Proven experience (2+ years) in digital advertising campaign management and graphic design, preferably in an agency or corporate environment.  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design software.  Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).  Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.  Creative thinking with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
