Marketing Specialist - Full time
The starting rate for this position is: $21.55 Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. Summary Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a full range of marketing and public relations activities (advertising, press releases, website, etc.) designed to support the mission of the hospital, and to educate and inform our community, patients, physicians, and employees about hospital services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry. + Work closely with Marketing Director to prepare internal and external communications as needed + Assist in communicating important announcements by the management to physicians, employees, staff and others + Help facilitate all marketing and PR requests from assigned service lines and ensures departmental/product line needs are met. + Maintains website and intranet content and ensures all information is up to date; writes new/enhanced content as needed. + Serves as lead on social media activities and initiatives + Assists in development of wide variety of other communication and collateral pieces, including employee newsletters/e-newsletters, communications, marketing pieces, and service line product/service sheets + Supports numerous events and sponsorships on behalf of the organization. Support includes attendance of events, procuring collateral for events, photography, videography and helping with all aspects of event coordination and production. + Responsible for SEO efforts across website + Tracks, reports and analyzes metrics – website, email, social, advertising (includes Google Ads) + Works collaboratively and educates project stakeholders, internal clients and team members + Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry. + Other duties as consistent with this role. Job Requirements Job Knowledge and Skills + Superior computer skills with knowledge of and experience in operating Microsoft Office programs, graphic design tools, web development software and social media platforms. + Excellent organizational skills, creative, and technical capabilities + Experience in basic photography and videography skills. + Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a positive attitude. + Ability to successfully work independently as well as in a team environment. + Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously Education and Experience + Four-year degree in marketing, communications or mass communications preferred. + 3 years of relevant, innovative and successful experience preferred An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements. Working Conditions/Physical Demands Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with this position that involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. Some stress related to high level of responsibility for quality care.
