Your Role
As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will lead the creation of marketing materials that support Gensler’s business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, and collateral. You will actively collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for winning new work while managing marketing systems and tracking opportunities. This position requires strong communication, leadership, and design sensibilities, along with the ability to leverage data and make data-driven decisions. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and contribute to broader marketing initiatives.
What You Will Do
Partner with business development leaders and senior staff to create compelling proposals and presentations.
Research prospective clients, opportunities, and market trends to inform strategies.
Develop pitch strategies, including budgets, timelines, and milestones for marketing initiatives, incorporating data analysis and insights to enhance effectiveness.
Coordinate and maintain marketing resources, such as resumes, project sheets, and image libraries, ensuring alignment with Gensler’s brand standards.
Oversee the maintenance of CRM systems and ensure accurate tracking of business development activities.
Lead design review processes to ensure high-quality marketing deliverables.
Contribute to internal and external communications projects to strengthen the office’s presence and visibility.
Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering professional growth.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or a related field.
7 years of experience in a B2B marketing role, preferably within architecture, design, engineering, or a related industry.
Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in InDesign, Microsoft Office, and other Adobe Creative Suite software. Familiarity with Salesforce or related CRM platforms is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with data analysis and using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategies.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
