Marketing Specialist - Thrivent Charitable

The Marketing Specialist is an individual contributor role responsible for providing expertise to support the execution of marketing plans and tactics in alignment with Thrivent Charitable marketing strategies and brand. The Marketing Specialist leverages data and analytics to make operational decisions, recommendations and continuously improve marketing results. This position participates as a team member on work streams, projects and initiatives engaging cross-organizational team members. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: + Leverages client insights and analytics to monitor success of marketing programs/initiatives and to continuously improve upon marketing results. Gathers field, donor, and stakeholder feedback to ensure alignment and to optimize effectiveness. + Builds marketing intelligence through external and internal data sources + Uses marketing expertise/experience to contribute to the execution of marketing plans in support of Thrivent Charitable's strategies + Delivers on tactics which support productivity, new donor growth and brand positioning to select market segments via omni-channel marketing + Produce and distribute content through Thrivent Charitable communication channels such as social media, website, email, or newsletters. + Develop trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to collaborate and contribute to branding and content distribution that attracts target segments, drives growth, and increases donor loyalty. The position will report to the Manager, Marketing and work collaboratively with Thrivent Charitable teammates, Thrivent colleagues and external constituents (e.g., donors, nonprofits, vendors). This person will work on marketing projects with a variety of stakeholders who have their own specific goals/agendas, and a wide range of skills sets or interests. In this role, there is a need to help others prioritize, seek out the right expertise and ensure the work is aligned with broader objectives. May take some escalation and collaboration at other levels to ensure alignment. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Required: + 3-5 years marketing or related experience. + College degree in marketing or related field; masters a plus but not required. + Experience in a specialized area of marketing (direct marketing, e-marketing, communications, analytics, brand positioning, social networking media, etc.) and/or project/program management. + Excellent communication skills. + Strong project management and collaboration skills + Growth mindset using creativity and marketing expertise to develop new, more effective, and more efficient marketing approaches. Preferred: + Experience in financial services, nonprofit and/or membership organizations + Proven success in a project coordination role. + Strong project reporting skills with a focus on interdepartmental communication. The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $69,053.00 - $93,425.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
