Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Strategy, Entertainment, you will be part of Radio-Canada’s Marketing & Communications group.
You will plan, manage and co-ordinate 360 marketing initiatives and develop related strategies, ensuring that deliverables meet management objectives. Initiatives must also be executed in compliance with standards, policies, approved budgets and timelines, as well as collective agreements covering talent and other employees.
Your key responsibilities:
Devise strategy and develop, plan and implement effective, innovative marketing campaigns for Radio-Canada’s linear TV channels (ICI TÉLÉ, ICI ARTV and ICI EXPLORA), Sports programming and kids’/youth content.
Devise innovative marketing strategies focused on attracting audiences of the properties under your responsibility to the ICI TOU.TV platform.
Prepare and share strategy briefs with the media and creative teams in conjunction with the Manager, Marketing Strategy, Entertainment, ensuring that projects are clearly understood by everyone involved.
Co-ordinate data entry in planning tools and Jira for all projects under your responsibility.
Ensure the effectiveness of advertising and promo campaigns based on media placements and objectives and deliver material to media partners.
Compile campaign results, prepare and draft post-mortems, and share lessons learned with management, creative teams, and our partners.
Co-ordinate all information needed to deliver projects (gather requester needs, perform costing, obtain submissions, establish timelines, develop media plans, determine team availability and secure the required approvals).
Advise and support the Manager, Marketing Strategy, Entertainment, working closely with the various departments to compile all necessary information about the reach of our content and platforms, and then produce and deliver effective, strategic, creative projects to achieve objectives with the best possible ROI.
Maintain a good relationship with ICI TOU.TV distribution partners and deliver the material they need to maximize opportunities to promote our content via their marketing channels.
Discuss issues with project participants, recommend alternatives and report on progress or changes made to projects.
Track projects and act as a single point of contact for internal and external resources.
Job requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or substantial equivalent experience, in communications, publicity and advertising, digital marketing or a related field
Five (5) or more years’ experience working in a marketing environment with substantial involvement in digital media
Skills:
Strategic thinker with an analytical mind
Proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize projects
Ability to work on several large projects at the same time in a tight-deadline environment
Extensive knowledge of the advertising market
Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of staff and management
Excellent organizational skills, diligence, tact and team-playing attitude
Leadership: proven ability to engage teams and foster collaboration.
Ability to be versatile, flexible, independent and adaptable to change
Strong client service focus
Excellent command of French and (spoken and written)
Good knowledge of English, an asset
Good knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive)
