Spotify is looking for an interim MSO for Western Europe from February 2025 to January 2026 as parental leave cover. In this function you will work closely with the Managing Director Western Europe, the MSO Europe, and the local leads team to help us achieve our 2025 goals.
Generally speaking MSOs (Market Strategy & Operation Managers) are responsible for driving the annual strategy process, conducting business analysis, owning regional operating processes and encouraging cross-functional collaboration by building strong relationships across the company.
This is a: (Fixed term 1 year) - full-time commitment - CDD
What You'll DoDefine & own cross-functional projects as part of the 2025 local strategy Own the local business reviews e.g., QBRsMonitor and gather insight on competitor activitiesTracking of regional budgets, and initiatives as part of the 2025 strategy execution Drive the local operating rhythm e.g., run local leadership meetings, set agendaProvide the Managing Director and functions with the insights and knowledge needed to drive decisions and define strategy for the regionRepresent Western Europe as MSO by being embedded in the Local Leads Team and the MSO community
You will learn the ropes of being an MSO, including:Gaining a deep understanding of how regions work at SpotifySharpening your analytical & interpersonal skillsCreating a network at Spotify across markets & teams e.g., growth, marketing, performance marketing, central strategy & opsWho You AreHave a curious, analytical thought processAre collaborative, anticipating and forward thinkingNot afraid to roll up your sleevesComfortable to working in English and French
Where You'll BeThis role is based in Paris. We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week.
