The Marketing Stylist Specialist at Burlington plays a crucial role in crafting visually captivating and brand-aligned styling content that elevates the Burlington brand. They curate inspirational narratives through strategic product selections, emphasizing key categories, trends, and consumer preferences. Collaborating closely with Merchants, the Fashion Office, Business Strategy, and Marketing teams, the Specialist ensures that product messaging aligns with merchandising goals and resonates across customer segments. This role demands a unique blend of fashion expertise, creative flair, and marketing acumen to authentically convey Burlington's brand essence through compelling styling.

 

A Day in the Life:

 

Collaborative Styling Leadership and Execution: Collaborate with Merchants to curate trend-focused marketing looks, attend vendor appointments and style-outs, create quarterly cross-functional marketing decks, and oversee sample collection and returns.Photoshoot Preparation: Collaborate with studio production and content teams to meticulously plan upcoming photoshoots. Coordinate model sizing, curate merchandise, and assemble complete outfits for on-model shots. Lead pre-production meetings to synchronize all teams and ensure cohesive planning. Utilize Burlington stores for additional materials when necessary. Streamline the preparation of looks to ensure seamless execution.Photoshoot Execution: Collaborate with studio production and content teams to prepare for photo shoots. Coordinate with models, hair, and makeup teams. Review final looks, shot lists, and schedules. Ensure timely preparation of selected outfits. Maintain organized model flow system. Perform garment pinning and alterations as needed. Execute minimal prop styling such as filling shopping bags or styling room settings. Leverage TV shoot and camera experience for efficient execution.Fashion Office Collaboration: Translate seasonal trend forecasts into consumerfocused, accessible looks. Develop comprehensive photo styling mood boards to guide creative direction and visual storytelling.

You Come With:

 

2-4 years of relevant experience. Experience in fashion styling, visual merchandising and/or marketing preferred.Fashion Expertise: A strong understanding of fashion trends, styles, and the ability to translate them into compelling visual presentations that align with brand identity and resonate with Burlington consumer.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in styling garments, accessories, and props to achieve high-quality visual presentations that meet brand standards.Creative Flair: Strong creative and artistic skills to conceptualize and execute visually appealing styling concepts, including outfit combinations, accessories, and props.Marketing Acumen: Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies to ensure that styling efforts support broader marketing objectives and contribute to brand positioning and customer engagement.Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Merchants, Fashion Office, Creative, and Marketing teams. This includes the ability to articulate styling concepts and requirements clearly.Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, coordinate logistics for photoshoots, and maintain an efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing trends, priorities, and timelines while maintaining creativity and quality in styling outputs.Problem-Solving Skills: Resourcefulness and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve styling challenges during photoshoots or while preparing styling content.Fashion Industry Knowledge: Awareness of industry trends, competitors' activities, and consumer preferences to stay relevant and innovative in styling approaches.Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with photographers, models, hair and makeup artists, and other stakeholders involved in photoshoots and content creation.Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver highquality styling content on schedule.
