Marketing Summer Intern

As a Watts Summer Intern in our Blauvelt, NY facility, you will spend approximately 12 weeks gaining hands-on experience and broad exposure to real-world business operations within a leading manufacturer of commercial condensing boilers and high-efficiency water heating equipment. Reporting to the Commercial Excellence team, you will apply your classroom knowledge to support cross-departmental projects, collaborate with product and technical service teams, and develop professional skills that will shape your future career.

You Will:

Work with product and technical service teams to gather technical documents and drawings for vendor publishing

Train on vendor software applications and assist the project manager in content build and testing

Contribute to workflow design for the application, creating a user acceptance testing (UAT) scorecard to measure system performance

Validate product lines, chapters, parts pages, and drawings in the test system prior to publishing

Assist in training sessions for new users before the Go-Live launch

Support the Parts Administrator with uploading pictures of new parts, managing part supersessions, and generating KPI reports

Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to develop transparency in cost-to-serve data

Gather and standardize transactional data for cost analysis, reconciling cleansed data with the P&L

Participate in stakeholder interviews to define allocation keys and build the cost-to-serve model for profitability and other analyses

Support final workshop review sessions, summarizing results and documenting corrective actions

You Have:

Current college student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher​

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, logic functions, V-lookups) and PowerPoint; Microsoft Access is a plus

Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact. 

Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. 

Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments. 

Must be authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship now or in the future.  

The expected hourly range for this position is $22 - $24 per hour. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

While performing the duties, the employee will be working in an office and manufacturing environment. The employee is required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects and other tools.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The Employee may be required to lift, push, and/or pull up to 20 pounds.
