Position Purpose
The Marketing Support Designer is a member of the business unit responsible for driving tactical execution to achieve brand objectives, supporting the HCP customer and patient strategies.
The primary role of the Marketing Support Designer is to pull through design and art changes to promotional materials.
In a fast-paced industry where label updates and new indications are common events, there is urgency in ensuring that our marketing materials are updated accurately and quickly.
As Marketing Support Designer, you will play a key role in crafting visually engaging materials that align with the brand’s identity and strategic goals.
You will collaborate with our experienced creative team, marketing specialists, and medical professionals to translate complex information into clear, visually compelling designs across various platforms.
This role will work closely with the cross-functional brand teams and will provide opportunities to design/create graphic content and project manage execution of critical customer-facing activities (engagements with health care professionals, professional society meetings and conferences, etc.).
It is an ideal position for those with excellent graphic design skills who would like to gain experience with pharmaceutical marketing.
Role Specification
Newly created marketing operations role, fully responsible and accountable for the creation and execution of graphic content for customer facing activities. Highly matrixed role in which you will be expected to work cross-functionally to deliver materials that represent the brand strategy.Work across multiple brands and have exposure to decision makers across many functions; report directly to the business unit director.Key Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of design assets for digital and print campaigns, including social media graphics, brochures, presentations, infographics, and email templates.Collaborate with the marketing teams to produce visually appealing content that supports product launches and other initiatives – sharing best practices and ideas across teams & BU’s.Ensure consistency with brand guidelines while bringing fresh, creative ideas to projects.Connect with stakeholders to refine and revise designs based on feedback.Adapt global designs for the UK market, ensuring they resonate with various audiences based on discussions and guidance from the brand team.Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies, especially those relevant to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.Support marketing teams on content uploads and management/upkeep of promotional websites.Work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.Provide operational support for pull-through of content into customer facing events (i.e. Congresses, P2P events, local exhibits, etc.)Work with the brand team to project manage operational tasks related to execution of customer facing events

Essential experience
Educational Background: Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.Demonstrable relevant experienceTechnical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); familiarity with After Effects and video editing software is a plus.Design Skills: Excellent layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills; ability to adapt to different styles and formats.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interpret briefs and present ideas clearly.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in design and proofreading.Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects with effective prioritisation and time managementProject management skills, certificationDesirable Attributes
