Cox Automotive is looking for a highly qualified Marketing Support Specialist II to join the Manheim Field Marketing team to drive results for our auctions and clients.
Marketing Support Specialist II is responsible for executing tactical marketing efforts for their assigned auction location(s). Tactics include email, phone outreach, social media, sales enablement, coordinates and delivers on the overall presence of assigned location ensuring physical and digital signage and other point of sale materials are properly placed and visible to clients and aligns with Manheim brand guidelines, influences sale day experience, contacts targeted clients via phone.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Sr. Manager/Manager, Field Marketing to understand objectives and goals of assigned auction location(s).
Execute tactical marketing efforts including email, phone outreach, social media, and sales enablement.
Coordinate and deliver on the overall presence of assigned location ensuring physical and digital signage and other point of sale materials are properly placed and visible to clients and aligns with Manheim brand guidelines.
Influence the sale day experience by engaging with clients in the auction lanes and facilitates in lane promotions and activities.
Contact targeted clients via phone to discuss special sales, feedback, or respond to a specific business need (as needed).
Build relationships with auction leadership, field sales, and key dealer and commercial clients.
Manages giveaway/promotional items and performs monthly audits on allotment.
Effectively manages auction location(s) website, social media platforms, and sales enablement content.
Provide weekly recaps on sale and client performance to field and auction leadership.
Understand monthly budget expectations and ensure spending is expensed appropriately.
Learn and effectively use multiple marketing and reporting tools.
Participate in weekly marketing team meetings.
Travel to assigned locations as required.
Assist with other auction-related duties as needed.

Who You Are
Minimum:
High school diploma/GED and 3 years of marketing experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a high school diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years of experience in a related field.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational skills.
Salesforce or another CRM platform.
Microsoft Office suite.
Able to work in a high-performing, fast-paced, deadline driven environment and adapt to an ever-changing industry, reacting to change in a positive manner.
Full-time, onsite Monday through Friday.
Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions as well as noise, dust, and fumes in auction lanes where applicable.
Some travel may be required to Manheim locations, regional meetings, and/or home office.
Requires physical ability (able to sit or stand for long periods of time) and mental acuity (able to work under time constraints and meet deadlines) to execute the duties of the position.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or business
