Loretto is a comprehensive, continuing care organization providing a variety of healthcare services for older adults across Central New York. As an intern with the Marketing Department at Loretto, you will support a team of experienced professionals for the company and its associated Foundation with a variety of internal communications, PR, employee events, social media, advertising and other marketing communications activities. This is a generalist position supporting various roles and activities across the team as needed.
The successful candidate will work on a flexible schedule, up to 20-25 hours per week, mostly in-person at our main Syracuse campus on Brighton Avenue, for a minimum of a 3–5-month commitment. This is an unpaid internship opportunity.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of a variety of internal and external communications projects, including press releases, newsletters, blogs, presentations and more Assist in developing a variety of communications materials to support marketing communications programs, community events and to promote the good will of LorettoAssist in the coordination of customer and employee events and trade shows where needed Support web content development activities for program launches, promotions and marketing programs Provide assistance with social media, including Facebook and X Conduct market and competitive research as needed Miscellaneous project administrative support Qualifications Ideal candidate would be an upperclassman with related course work/intern experience and strong writing skills to be able to work on assignments remotely.
