Marketplace Operations Specialist
**About the Role** As a Marketplace Operations Specialist for low cost at Uber, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for optimizing and managing the marketplace ecosystem for low cost. This role requires a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Uber's marketplace, ensuring a seamless experience for riders and drivers **What the Candidate Will Do** 1. Identify opportunities for market expansion and collaborate with the launch team to onboard new drivers and riders for low cost products 2. Monitor and balance the supply and demand of drivers and riders in real-time. 3. Develop and manage incentive programs to influence driver and rider behavior and meet marketplace goals. 4. Collaborate with customer support teams to enhance the overall rider and driver experience. 5. Stay informed about local regulations and market dynamics and work with cross functional teams to ensure marketplace compliance and customer safety, and sentiment. **What the Candidate Will Need** 1. A minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in data analytics, operations management, management consulting, investment banking and / or start ups 2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or any related field. 3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 1. Familiarity with the ride-sharing industry and its competitive landscape. 2. Previous experience in operations, strategy, or marketplace management. 3. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
