POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the culinary department. Assists the on-duty supervisor to ensure proper food preparation and quality throughout all food outlets.

Prepares food and ingredients at the beginning of an assigned shift and replenishes during slow periods. Creates orders according to menu and supervisor instructions with attention to taste and visual appeal. Maintains the kitchen and supply room in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition. Assists in maintaining Marketplace inventory, orders, stocks, and rotates items. Dates all perishable items upon delivery. Keeps condiments filled. Keeps kitchen clean to include floors walls, ceiling tiles, equipment (inside & out) as well as deep cleaning projects such as fryers, grease traps, shelves and walls.  Cleans area, restocks all items, puts away perishables, and covers all food items at the end of a shift.  Requirements

  

· High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred

· 1 year of cooking experience preferred

· 1 year of cash handling and cash register experience preferred. 18 years of age or older

· Able to read and comprehend written instructions

· Must have administrative/clerical experience

· Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once

· Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and customer relations skill

· Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate and OLCC License required

· Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License

· Must maintain a clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available)
