Key Responsibilities:

Database Administration: Manage and administer large-scale production MarkLogic clusters, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Security and Backup: Implement and maintain security models, backup/restore mechanisms, and perform regular security audits. Experience with corb jobs, mlcp, and other related MarkLogic tools and technologies. Query Performance & Tuning: Perform query performance tuning and review, as well as debug and optimize code modules that work with complex data structures. Technical Expertise: Work extensively with XML, XPATH, and XML Query. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues. Linux Proficiency: Utilize Linux operating systems and commands for managing databases and servers effectively. Shift Flexibility: Be willing to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts. Collaboration & Communication: Work collaboratively in a team environment, provide support with minimal supervision, and maintain strong written and oral communication with clients and stakeholders. Banking/Financial Experience: Experience in the Banking and Financial domain is preferred.

Desired Qualifications:

NoSQL Knowledge: Familiarity with other NoSQL systems such as MongoDB, Couchbase, Cassandra, etc., is a plus. Automation Exposure: Experience with automation techniques/tools and scripting languages is desirable. Performance Monitoring: Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and proactive database management.
