We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced MarTech Developer II to join our Technology team. This high-visibility individual will work alongside multiple teams, such as Marketing, Ecom, Rental, Analytics, Data Engineering, and various stakeholders, to support Email and SMS communications by building segmentation by leveraging the Customer C360 and CDP. As a MarTech Developer II for Marketing Technologies, you will oversee and optimize the omnichannel communications for all brands and touchpoints. This includes building end-to-end emails, from HTML creative assets to real-time API-triggered emails to batch email deployments. What you’ll do Email Development: Create and maintain visually appealing email templates using HTML/CSS, ensuring optimal rendering across various email clients and devices. API Integration: Build and integrate transactional email workflows using REST APIs, ensuring seamless communication with other systems and applications. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to HTML templates, responsive design, email testing, list segmentation, and other aspects of email execution. Campaign Management: Manage the setup, deployment, and reporting of one-time and recurring email & SMS campaigns, including list segmentation, content optimization, and message personalization. Campaign Execution: Collaborate with Email operations, marketing, creative, data engineering, analytics, and CRM teams to develop and execute targeted email campaigns aligned with business objectives. Performance Analysis: Track and analyze email campaign performance metrics, identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for optimization. Testing and Optimization: Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimize email content, subject lines, and calls to action, driving improved engagement and conversion rates. Coordination: Work closely with the design and data teams to ensure timely delivery of email campaigns while maintaining high-quality standards. Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest email marketing trends, best practices, and technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness. What you’ll bring Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Computer Science or related field. 5+ experience in email marketing, with a strong understanding of HTML/CSS and email design principles. 5+ years of Proficiency in email marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, Iterable, Mailchimp, etc.). 3+ years experience with building transactional email workflows using REST APIs. Proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation. Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform campaign strategies. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working in the retail domain, particularly with multi-brand businesses. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques. Experience with email automation and personalization. The starting salary for this position is $92,800 – $142,300 and may increase to $148,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
