Interns can apply for a position in the following four departments: Brain Health, Marketing/Communications, Life Enrichment/Therapeutic Recreation (with residents), Administration with the Executive Office and Business Operations (with our Home Care and Goodwin Living at Home team). Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until positions are filled.  This program can fulfill the hours necessary for the school-credit internship requirement, if needed. The program can be completed as a 100, 120, or 160 hour schedule. Interns will be required to submit all necessary onboarding documents and attend an orientation prior to their start date.  Interns will receive a stipend, school-credit, a resident mentor, and 2-3 professional development workshops with our leadership team.  Job Requirements Applicants must be currently enrolled in Marymount University or NVCC  Ability to relate to and work with team members and their department Creates a welcoming, friendly and adaptable environment for those they serve and work with  Be interested to work with a diverse population of older adults Have a can-do mindset and be excited to learn about all we have to offer Proficient with email communications and knowledge of Microsoft Office  Job Duties Follow all procedures of the host department Engage in projects as defined by the host department  Assist in day to day task of the host department Brain Health Activities / Evaluation (i.e., Music Therapy, Art Therapy), Research and Community Outreach Marketing & Communications Blog Writing, Digital Marketing, Content Strategy, Brand Management and Internal Communications Administration with the Executive Office Policy and Procedures, Resident Support, Resource Development Business Operations (with our Home Care and Goodwin Living at Home team) Service Line Strategy, Industry Analysis, Program Development, Marketing Support Life Enrichment/Therapeutic Recreation Events Planning, Program Development, Activity Facilitation for residents at all levels of care, including independent, assisted living and healthcare center   About Goodwin Living Goodwin Living has been uplifting the lives of older adults and those who care for them since 1967.
