Maserati Regional Sales Manager - NY/NE (Northeast Region)

The Regional Sales Manager position consists of three parts: 

Dealer Consultation: 

Lead and support the dealers in achieving sales results, ensuring development of robust sales and customer satisfaction processes  Implementation of dealer standards to deliver a consistent consumer focused retailing experience represented of the Maserati brand  Work within a team environment to develop cross-functional action plans to improve overall dealership performance (Network, After Sales, and Finance Departments)  Development and measurement of functional scorecards and dealer performance indicators  Draft and deliver reports such as sector & competitors' performance, dealer activities, sales forecasting  Ability to advise dealer on the optimal structure of sales teams, their pay plans and training/coaching requirements  Accountability of dealer staff with most up-to-date training requirements for product and process 

  

Wholesale/Distribution: 

New vehicle supply chain management  Develop cyclical Retail / Wholesale forecasts in line with available production  Ensure local interfaces for vehicle ordering, optimizing dealer/internal demand throughout the order allocation process  Coordinate the acquisition and disposal of the un-wholesaled stock, implementing plans/actions to optimize operational & financial performance  Maximize supply performance through channel and product mix tactical actions, particularly in relation to short / medium term tasks 

  

Marketing and Advertising: 

Communication and promotion of Maserati Marketing, Sales Promotion & Merchandising programs  Ensure dealers abide by Maserati advertising covenants; maximize dealer usage of allocated Co-op funds  Assist with development of Dealer promotional events, marketing and merchandising activity  Maximize dealer adherence to ecommerce, responsiveness to Maserati provided leads through CRM (salesforce) 

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree 5 + years of sales experience in the automotive industry  Background must be well-rounded in the areas of sales and marketing and dealer business management and analysis  Excellent customer relations skills  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
