Mass Properties Technician I **INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY** Job Code:2025:0402-019 Location:Yuma Proving Ground, AZ FT/PT Status:Full Time Business Sector:Test Range Operations Job Description Performs the entry level duties of a Mass Properties technician, which include but are not limited to, assembly and disassembly of copper crusher gages, cleaning of gages, the measurement and reading of the sphere with precision measurement devices, then using a trage table to convert the sphere measurement into pressure reading, then input pressure data into computerized database. Assist senior technicians with measurements of ammunition such as, Center of gravity, moments of inertia, and diameter of projectiles. This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Qualifications Pay Rate: $20.89Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.* Must be able to obtain an ammo 45 certification within 90 days.* Must be able to obtain an Arms Ammunition and Explosives (AA&E) training certification within 90 days.* Must be able to obtain a YPG forklift certification within 90 days.
