As a Massage Therapist, your developed skills and exceptional customer service provide relief, comfort and important education to clients.

LOCATION: 2 Coulter Rd, Clifton Springs, NY 14432

DEPARTMENT: The Springs Spa

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, Day/ Evenings [Until 7:30pm Latest]

ATTRIBUTES

Successful completion of NYS recognized massage school requiredNYS licensure as a massage therapist requiredCompassionate, kind and patient focusedExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel

RESPONSIBILITIES

Treatment. Provide massage therapy (Swedish, Deep Tissue and Signature), hydrotherapy and other bodywork treatments for clients; assist in poultices and other special treatments; demonstrate evaluation skills, palpation accuracy and recognize contraindications to treatmentLeadership & Collaboration. Assist with educational programs for hospital staff and community; participate in research projects; write articles both in concert with other practitioners and aloneGeneral Duties. Spa Attendant duties as assigned (housekeeping, maintaining supplies, assisting other practitioners with rooming, etc.)

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
