We are now looking for a Master Data Expert, Installation, to join our team!We offer you an opportunity to work in an international and energetic environment, with lots of learning possibilities. In master data management you will familiarise yourself with multiple process tools and a wide range of Wärtsilä people around the world.
The position is permanent and located in Finland (Vaasa or Turku) with a possibility for hybrid work.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate, support, and execute the work of the assigned master data team in its operative tasks. Participating in global development projects as Expert and/or Project manager, coordinating development, building, and testing systems, supporting colleagues and other stakeholders globally. Sharing with the Process manager the Process ownership for master data, having expert knowledge of the tool and process within own area of responsibility. Acting as the backup for the Process manager according to the agreed scope. Identifying, evaluating, and implementing process and tool automation to reach world-class performance in the master data process (RPA, AI, Analytics). Identifying, evaluating, and implementing control points for internal and external audits. Identifying, evaluating, and preparing mitigating actions to avoid and reduce risks related to own process. Arranging process-related training globally to successfully implement the global Wärtsilä way of working in the process. Training/coaching end users on relevant processes and financial awareness. Preparing training material and working instructions.
Requirements:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Industrial Management or Information Technology or similar. 4+ years’ experience of Master Data Management concepts & SAP MDM (Functional Location/Installations). Understanding of Installation connections to Equipment, Customer’s & Business Partner’s. Previous knowledge in automating processes and tools such as Form.IO, API, MDS, PowerBI & Databases. Solid stakeholder management and training skills. Systematic and organized way of working. Open-minded and agile personality. Flexibility and good team working skills. Shown results in process optimization and system development are considered as an advantage. Experience in coding and analytics are considered as an advantage. Advanced English. Other languages are considered as an advantage.
