Job Duties:

Acts as a liaison between business systems users and IT software application development group for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems and to ensure systems meet required performance levels.Identifies and analyzes business needs; gathers and documents requirements; and defines business systems scope and objectives.Prioritizes and makes recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business operations.Researches business requirements and documents relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end-users, business processes, data, applications, and devices).Translates business requirements into application requirements.Designs, maintains and leads training for all users of assigned systems.Tests software, monitors and reports on software performance, and coordinates activities of personnel to troubleshoot and address software bug fixes, extensions, patches, custom development and upgrades.Responsible for day-to-day support of assigned applications

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
