Here’s the scoop - Summary

As a Master Data Program Manager, you would play the lead role in the Master Data Management (MDM) program by partnering with regional, global, and transformational stakeholders to effectively analyze, document, organize, optimize, and orchestrate all aspects of an enterprise MDM program. This includes the data foundation, analytics, and ensuring our master data is a key enabler of Champion Petfoods' mission to help pets thrive for lifetime.

Similarly, you would act as a trusted partner, both internally and externally, interpreting our data and insights to drive strategic decisions and deliver recommendations based on the data that foster collaboration, optimize business processes, and support advanced technology capabilities. 

This brand new role will report to the Project Management Office Director and be based out of our Corporate office in Boulder, Colorado on a hybrid schedule.

What a typical day looks like

Plan, implement, and manage the Master Data Management (MDM) program and related projects. Design and deliver change strategies to support MDM program implementation, including detailed planning, progress reporting, and stakeholder management. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across the organization for all data categories. Facilitates the MDM steering committee’s vendor product and customers, defines the workgroup priorities and LT roadmap. Escalates to executive sponsors MDM priorities and programs. Monitor, measure, and improve master data quality metrics. Enforce policies and procedures for managing data assets, including data quality, stewardship, and reference data security. Contribute to the development and maintenance of MDM systems. Analyze master data and data sources to identify trends and patterns that enhance business processes and operational efficiency, supporting data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide a comprehensive view of data requirements and ensure MDM solutions meet their needs.

What you'll bring

Education & Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and core data objects such as material, customer, and vendor data Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business analytics, or a related field or equivalent business experience CDMP designation preferred, but not necessary Experience with data transformation change or transformation initiatives

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Knowledge of master data management topics, governance, and knowledge areas Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Proficiency in the use of computers for

MS Office Suite experience required Knowledge of workflow management and translation tools an asset
