CRH Canada is currently hiring a Master Data Representative- Summer Student  to join their growing team!

Location: Concord
Term: 4 Months Summer Student 

 

Job Responsibilities: 
•    Identify dormant vendors in viewpoint
•    Identify vendors in common with SAP Viewpoint and Hana. Find any differences to check accuracy
•    Email or call vendors on cheque to promote EFT/ACH for all active vendor sin Viewpoint, SAP, and Hana
•    Update email change requests in queue
•    Extend concrete material views
•    Check new requests for completion and reply to requestors to provide missing info.
•    Validate missing recipient types on VM
•    Assist with duplicate report
•    Check for terminated employees each week.
•    Check for concrete materials proactively needing extensions in SQ01
•    Ensure all attachments are present for new and changed vendors
•    Go through Ordering address and sub 
•    Perform T&E claim audit procedures
•    Perform and document management procedures for submitted receipts
•    Reconcile employee’s outstanding balances on Citibank cards
•    Assist in dispute investigation and resolution
•    Resolve employee queries not resolved by the Vendor Inquiries 
•    Continuously improve operations
•    Identify and suggest process and system enhancements
•    Assist Master Data / T&E Analyst in continuously monitoring Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements
•    Perform at a level that assists in attaining overall and team-level performance measures and goals
•    Interface with other Shared Service teams to ensure compliance with cross-team accountabilities
•    Coordinate with other Shared Service teams to deliver seamless service to customers


Requirements:
•    University/college degree in 2nd year or 3rd year Accounting/ Business or related field required/preferred
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills 
•    Detail oriented 
•    Able to assess and promptly resolve problems 
•    Able to demonstrate flexibility with job duties and scope of work 
•    Able to generate team cooperation 
•    Able to meet deadlines and prioritize work 
•    Able to apply common sense understanding and problem-solving skills to complete activities
•    Able to manage electronic files effectively
•    Skilled in Customer Service, including analyzing customer needs through soliciting, evaluating and acting upon customer feedback
•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Working knowledge and use of office productivity tools (MS Office)
