Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Master Field Service Techs for projects located in and around Chesapeake, VA. Job Scope:

Diagnose operational problems in electrical power generation and control systems and equipment.Use specialized measuring and testing instruments such as voltmeters ammeters ohmmeters meggers, advanced Motor Circuit Testers AWA IV12 PDMA MCE Megger ADX 15 etc.Make standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipmentPlan and lay out work from blueprints sketches wiring diagrams or specificationsInstall, repair, and test electrical systems, electrical equipment, & emergency or standby generation systemsConduct IR Scans of Customer Power and Control SystemsPerform TroubleshootingMaintenance and Repair of Electric Motors AC InductionWork with AC Synchronous, AC Wound Rotor, DC Shunt Wound, DC Series Wound, and Generators AC and DC in the Field.Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Masters Electrician License preferred Minimum of 4 years experience in industrial electrical troubleshooting with a background in AC/DC motors controls and generators. Experience with thermography NETA or NICET certifications would be preferable over a Master Electrician/Journeyman.  Certs need to be current.High school diploma or equivalentMust have clean driving record You must pass a background check & drug screen Company Details
