This position is responsible for servicing and maintaining field heavy construction equipment, trucks, and vehicles at a designated job site.

Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical failings with on-site heavy equipmentClean, lubricate, and conduct routine services on heavy-duty vehiclesComplete simple to medium level repairs and component replacements onsiteLearn, follow, and promote all Charah safety regulationsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in FIELD heavy equipment maintenance requiredValid driver’s license requiredKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance requiredKnowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in ash management, structural fills and landfills preferredWelding experience preferredHVAC Freon certification preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred Current OSHA 10 (or similar) construction safety certification preferred Work Environment & Conditions This position requires a flexible work schedule: nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtimeMust be able to climb, maintain body equilibrium, reach, grasp, bend and walk/stand/sit for extended periods of timeMust be able to hear and see naturally or with correctionMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds
