Job Description:

MSW, Behavioral Health
Shift: Full Time Days; Some weekend hours may be required

Where You'll Be:

Baptist Health LaGrange is adding a brand new 11-bed inpatient behavioral health unit. Our focus will be providing care for adults 18 and older who require hospitalization for behavioral health needs in a safe and structured environment. The unit utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to provide care for patients. Team is made up of registered nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, recreational therapist, and psychiatrist.

What You'll Do:

Interview patient/family to obtain comprehensive psychosocial history

Conducts high social risk case finding and screening

Assesses psychosocial, financial, cultural, and family dynamics

Participates in an interdisciplinary approach to discharge planning interfacing with Case Management

Performs job in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Why You're a Great Fit:

You have had a minimum 1 year experience in behavioral health

You have a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)

You have or will obtain BLS certification
