Master Operations Technician/Butter Room

**Job Description**
**General Purpose:**
To follow set procedures of product production in a safe manner to ensure the product meets quality specifications set by the company to fulfill customer specifications..
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ **Looking for ways to improve the work area and environment.**
+ **Provide guidance to co-workers to help them better understand there job functions.**
+ **Ensure all product produced is within accepted specifications.**
+ **Maintain maximum efficiency of all equipment.**
+ **Perform random inspections of equipment after CIP.**
+ **Periodically check chemical strengths.**
+ **Maintain accurate and orderly production logs.**
+ **Notify supervisor of any problems that might come up.**
+ **If we are backed up in one area of the Butter Room help out.**
+ **Perform follow-up on SAP variance report and provide feedback.**
+ **Comply with SQF policies/procedures, DFA policies/procedures and maintain GMP’s within areas assigned**
+ **Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble packaging equipment, churns, and piping in the butter room.**
+ **Adhere to all DFA Quality policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity**
+ **Adhere to all DFA Safety policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity**
+ **Adhere to all DFA GMP policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity**
+ **Check all paperwork and inventory reports to insure accuracy.**
+ **Perform other duties as assigned.**
**Requirements**
**Required Minimum Qualifications:**
**Education and Experience**
+ High School Degree or Educational Equivalent.
+ Three years previous experience preferred in the following, Churn and Filler
**_Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities_**
+ Basic math skills.
+ Full knowledge of the butter room
