Master Painter (Malermeister)

POSITION SUMMARY

 

*This position is located full time in Wiesbaden, Germany, and is currently under bid*

 

As the certified Master Painter (Malermeister), you will be responsible for ensuring all contract painting requirements are met. You will be responsible to check and verify and as needed all painting work orders. Additionally, you will be required to provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Able to demonstrate exceptional skill in applying paint, managing different surfaces, and achieving precise results. Will be required to identify and address potential paint issues during a project, like uneven surfaces or moisture problems, with effective solutions. Will stay updated on the latest painting techniques, materials, and industry standards. Will lead a team of painters, ensuring quality control and project completion according to specifications. Will ensure proper preparation at the job site, which may include cleaning, taping, and protecting the area. Will ensure proper finishes such as primers, sealers, and paint are applied correctly. Be proficient in mixing colors or oils to achieve the desired color or consistency. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certificate of tradesmen for Master Painter (Malermeister). Proven experience as a certified Master Painter (Malermeister). Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Master Painter. Able to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Valid driver's license. Fluency in German and English.
