**Description**
Master Planner
Location: Greeley, CO
Role Summary: The Master Planner will convert the S&OP (Short, mid, long term) monthly plan into a weekly schedule to facilitate material requirements and will act as the main liaison between corporate Production Planning, Sales and Operations. They will provide the Master Planning Schedule for the category aligned with the S&OP, guide the raw material requirements for filling production schedules, and establish delivery times. This will be an onsite position at the Greeley Corporate office.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide direct input to setting master production planning metrics targets
+ Provide necessary input to supply planner to support integrated business planning
+ Maintain data relevant to master production planning activities including planning calendars, material data, and location
+ Analyze plant capacity and production requisition data to resolve manufacturing plans and required sources
+ Analyze data and make recommendations on increasing/decreasing inventory targets
+ Advise Operations Manager of any potential issues
+ Analyze variances between actual, budget, and constrained forecasts
+ Establish, maintain, report, and analyze trends for key performance indicators for forecast accuracy, demand variability, and inventory
+ Analyzes and revises production plans and provides appropriate delivery dates as required
+ Support the S&OP director on analysis reports from SAP/IBP
+ Analyzes and reports on actual customer demand, trends and forecasts, and adjusts capacity plans accordingly. Report the deviations to Sales Team, and align actions plans with Operations, Customer Service, and Sales.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with staff and all management
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration
+ Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Planner
+ APICS certification is a plus
+ Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, SAP/IBP
+ Analytical skills, detail orientated
+ Knowledge of perishable food manufacturing
+ Excellent communication skills both verbally and technology applied
+ Must be able to accept change and understanding of dealing with a perishable product
+ Very fast paced environment that requires multi-tasking at any given time
+ Excellent conflict resolution skills
+ Must have a demonstrable record of delivery through being a team player
+ Food Manufacturing Operations environment
+ Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
+ As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
+ Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
+ Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
+ 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
+ Base salary range of $74,000-$90,000;
+ Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
