Master Relief Operator
**Job Description** **MASTER RELIEF OPERATOR** **_GENERAL PURPOSE_** Perform proficiently in different aspect of multiple plant duties. Provide relief in jobs and learn duties of production, packaging, sanitation, and other roles as assigned. **_JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_** · Perform a variety of line duties within the manufacturing environment to include highly skilled / senior-level processing, machine operator, and/or break relief operator jobs. This may include troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance repairs · Review process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot · Assist with training efforts in functional area as needed · Review charts, screens, quality check sheets, and specifications that are in both hard copy and electronic format · Engage in problem solving to assist in improving production, safety, quality, and yields · Ensure operational efficiencies by positioning work, setting up of jobs, adjusting and operating equipment for proper functions and manufacturing of product · Perform quality monitoring of statistical information and report on variations to supervisor and lab · Inspect and identify any issues and perform preventative maintenance when needed · Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately · Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues · Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements · The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required **_Pay: $21.75_** **Requirements** **_EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE_** · High school diploma or equivalent preferred · 2 to 4 years of manufacturing/production experience needed, preferably in the dairy or consumer goods industry · Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment **_KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES_** · Able to follow directions and carry out instructions · Able to effectively work in a team environment · Able to legibly write entries for record keeping · Able to work in a fast-paced environment · Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals · Must be able to read, write and speak English _An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans_ **Pay Range** 21.75
