Job Overview

This position is responsible for analyzing data in the MRP/ERP system to assist Planning develop and maintain executable production schedules to meet customer request. The role will require making recommendations through data analysis and reporting to help the stakeholders with business KPI’s. This position will support Supply Chain team from quotation to delivery of projects.

 

Responsibilities:

Support Supply Chain Management by helping develop and maintain executable production schedules from S&OP and backlog to achieve customer request. Lead efforts to forecast daily, weekly and monthly shipments based off of ERP data and S&OP planned bookings. Lead the planners in the execution of the production plan in MRP. Support the daily tier and production meetings. Support master schedule through validating data in system. Support keeping factory workload level loaded. Communicate shipping metrics and past dues at Tier meetings. Communicate demand fluctuations to the demand management team for review. Monitor weekly customer shipments. Create material  strategies as needed. Determine inventory levels of components and finished goods based off usage. Provide input to management regarding long term material issues that could impact corporate decisions Maintenance of the item master in MRP environment. Measure and communicate schedule adherence daily, weekly, monthly. Represents the Supply Chain Manager when required to support meetings. Ensure Engineering change notifications are captured and actioned.  Provide feedback to sales and customer service to drive order improvements.  What your background should look like: BS or BA Degree preferred in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or related field 8+ years Experience in Master Scheduling and Project Planning APICS certification or equivalency preferred Possess the ability to multi-task in a fast changing environment  Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure, balancing conflicting priorities and resource constraints Thorough understanding of MRP logic and inventory strategies Experience MRP/ERP systems such as SAP and Global Shop Sales Inventory and Operations Planning experience a plus. Advanced Computer skills; excel, word and power point Ability to analyze and reconcile material issues Must be proficient in English language

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $101,100 - $151,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
