About the Role: We are looking for a full time Master Scheduler to join our team. The Master Scheduler, using the production plan generated in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, is responsible for creating the monthly and weekly production requirements and inventory plans that fulfill demand requirements. They utilize capacity analyses and customer service policies to govern schedules for finished product/intermediates inventory plans in accordance with business policies. The Master Scheduler is the main contact person for the Asset Scheduler from supply planning.
This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Pay and Benefits:

Responsibilities:
Translate the Supply Plan into the master production schedule (MPS) Create and communicate the MPS for finished goods and/or intermediates at the SKU/end item level for the MPS horizon of 0-4 months at the weekly level Maintain and provide valid available to promise (ATP) data Identify and resolve conflicts with supply and demand and available capacity for the MPS horizon Perform rough cut capacity planning (RCCP) for the master production schedule Model “what if” scenarios to evaluate proposed MPS changes to determine impact Recommend disposition of slow moving/obsolete inventory Analyze inventory stocking strategies and recommend improvements S&OP: Execute policies related to the master scheduling and supply planning processes Be responsible for continuous improvement of the master production scheduling process, practices, policies and metricsRequired Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, business, or technical field AND/OR a minimum of 5 years relevant functional experience (asset scheduling, distribution planning, material planning, continuous improvement Demonstrated knowledge of S&OP Planning processes in the mid- and short-term horizons Demonstrated knowledge of modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios Demonstrated knowledge of asset reliability and productivity Basic Financial acumen Understanding of ERP functionality to support master scheduling process Understanding of inventory management & replenishment methods Analytical skills (advanced Excel) Ability to travel up to 5%
Desired Qualifications:
APICS (ASCM) CPIM certification Operations, scheduling, and planning experience ERP(SAP) and reporting expertise
