We are looking for a Master Scheduler to support our Supply Planning and Production Scheduling initiatives. The Supply Planning department is responsible for aligning harvest plans at the farms to forecast Sales demand, aligning weekly supply and demand through network balancing, and planning weekly production schedules based on customer forecasts and orders. This role will be closely connected to the greenhouse operations to align weekly production planning needs and optimizing production sequencing. While working cross functionally with sales, this individual will also support the supply planning department by balancing the finished goods in the greenhouse network to align harvest supply with customer orders. This is a remote role reporting to the VP of Supply Chain. 

Specifically, you will:

Support the greenhouses and Farm Support Center (FSC) by planning productions and aligning supply to customer ordersCommunicate production schedules to Operations and Supply Chain leadership in a timely mannerCollaborate with Sales and Operations teams to align productions with sales requirementsAlign schedules with Production Managers so there is a clear understanding of targets to meet demandAccount, post, and communication all changes in production schedule(s)Record and report the quantity of products/cases produced accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain reporting systems to make sure that all forms of documentation are accurate and timelyDevelop and create a balance between existing and future production to meet customer demands to maximize order fulfillmentReview requests of new sales order and provide practical promise dates to client service prior to promised ordersEvaluate data and prepare reports to facilitate and suggest actions to ensure optimal execution of supply chainSupervise and oversee reasons to schedule changes to ensure root causes for volatility of schedule are resolvedProactively recommend solutions to reduce waste and improve efficiencyImprove process and production efficiency by monitoring adherence and attainment of daily schedulesImprove customer service by reconciling differences and inaccuracies alongside OperationsSupport the planning department by planning weekly production schedules for the greenhouses and balancing the finished goods network Other responsibilities as needed

The ideal candidate: 

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field3-5+ years relevant supply chain experience, preferably in fast-moving consumer products manufacturingProficiency in end-to-end supply chain management procedures and best practicesUnderstands of supply chain software (i.e., TMS, WMS, and ERP systems)Capable of working remotely with minimal supervision as a self-starterGood time management skills to match orders and schedules timelyExcellent knowledge and proficiency in Excel and database programsProficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sourcesAbility to prepare and present information and recommendations from documentation (spreadsheets, charts, graphs)Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision as a self-starter

Preferred qualifications: 

Experience in supply planning, production scheduling, and network balancingExperience working within agricultureExperience working in agricultureAbility to learn quickly and work in a highly collaborative team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGreat organizational and interpersonal skillsAdvanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Powerbi 

Travel/Additional Comments:

The work environment is generally in an office setting but may require travel to greenhouses and operational site locations
