We are seeking a skilled **Master Seat Builder** to join our PDS Tech team, specializing in the fabrication, installation, refurbishment, and modification of **aircraft interior equipment** . If you have experience with **aircraft, luxury automobile, or boat seat building** and are comfortable working in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment, this position is for you. **Location:** Hartford, CT **Job Type:** Full-Time, Contract to Perm **Pay Rate:** $29.76 - $35.71 per hour **Key Responsibilities:** + Adhere to factory, shop, or hangar general work requirements. + Follow environmental health and safety policies, participating in 5-S activities. + Fabricate, install, refurbish, and modify aircraft interior equipment and furnishings. + Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations. + Document work according to manuals and industry regulations. + Assist with aircraft maintenance both on-site and off-site as needed. + Clean aircraft interiors as required. **Requirements:** + Experience building **aircraft seats** or **luxury automobile/boat seats** . + Previous experience in **aircraft upholstery** (including soft goods and upholstery installation/removal). + **Mechanical aptitude** and the ability to interpret **mechanical engineering drawings** (preferred). + Basic **PC skills** and the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms (preferred). **Why Join Us?** This is your opportunity to work in a fast-paced aviation environment where safety, quality, and innovation come first.
