Description

•\tPerforms work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with company standards.

•\tDiagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair using schematics and/or diagnostic equipment.

•\tCommunicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.

•\tSaves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by our technical team.

•\tHas previous Electric Vehicle experience.

•\tHas Electric Vehicle certification from ASE or an OEM.

•\tExamines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.

•\tCommunicates with shop foreman immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.

•\tDocuments all work performed and recommended on the work order.

•\tRoad tests vehicles when required or refers to the shop foreman.

•\tParticipates in manufacturer-sponsored training program in Chandler, AZ

•\tKeeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins/recalls.

•\tSupervises work of other technicians and provides guidance and mentorship to them.

•\tReports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.

•\tNotifies shop foreman immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.

•\tKeeps the shop area neat and clean.

•\tMaintains and is accountable for all company-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received.

•\tUnderstands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.

•\tOperates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.

•\tReports any safety issues immediately to leadership.

•\tOther tasks as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
