Master Thesis on Electromagnetic Design of Microwave Components (d/f/m)

Duration: 6 months

We at Airbus Central Research & Technology pioneer cutting edge technologies for future airborne and spaceborne systems, providing novel functionalities whilst reducing the environmental footprint of Airbus products and services. You will join the team of our researchers working on cutting-edge microwave technology. With your contribution you will directly contribute to development of wireless communication systems for Airbus products.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Investigating low-loss microwave component architectures

Electromagnetic simulations and physical implementation of these components

Integration of these components together into a wireless communication system

Hardware realization of your design and its measurements

 Desired skills and qualifications

You have a bachelor degree in electrical engineering, preferably with background in microwave circuits and electromagnetic simulations,

You are familiar with the electromagnetic simulation software, e.g. HFSS, CST,

You like to work in an agile and dynamic environment, and have a high degree of self-motivation and enthusiasm
