Role Overview:

 

DRiV™ Garage Gurus

Garage Gurus is a comprehensive technical automotive education platform offering onsite, online and on-demand training and related support to thousands of technicians, service writers, shop owners and other industry professionals. This "Tech First" initiative from DRiV™ is comprised of a network of state-of-the-art training centers, a fleet of Web-connected "Gurus-On-The-Go" product technology vans, “Gurus on Call,” and an array of eLearning tools.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Master Trainer will be responsible for delivering training and working within a cross functional team to support DRiV™ brand, sales, product, and "Tech First" initiatives in content collaboration, development, and delivery. The Regional Technical Trainer will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local area customers and local area vocational schools. The Regional Technical Trainer must have the ability to present technical field clinics as well as hands-on workshops.

Steering and Suspension Brakes Ignition Electrical Engine Drivability

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Deliver Clinics in the Field across North America and Canada Travel regularly and deliver Hands-On Workshops in a shop environment. Develop and record Tech Tip YouTube videos. Collaborate, research, and develop content using Microsoft Programs Develop relationships with customers, vocational schools, and training affiliations within the region.  

Education:

ASE Master Certified (includes T Series tests T1-T8)

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years' experience as a journeyman technician or equivalent is required. Previous automotive training delivery experience or comparable experience within a related industry.

Skills:

Technical proficiency to properly deliver the assigned curriculum as well as assist in the development of new curriculum. Strong interpersonal skills required to interact and succeed within a cross functional management team. Strong communication and presentation skills. Bilingually proficient is a plus.
