Main Job Purpose:

This role is to manage the end-to-end delivery of capital engineering projects. May be dedicated to deliver a single project of significant size or a portfolio of smaller projects. Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of projects including stakeholder engagement, contractor management, site safety, budget management.

Key Accountabilities:

On Time In Full (OTIF) end to end delivery of assigned capital projects adhering to Unilever standards and ensuring safety as number 1 priority, following UMS EEM Methodology

Lead engineering project teams drawing resources from the local, regional and global organization as well as Unilever Engineering Cluster, Centre of Engineering Excellence and 3rd Party Teams

Leads all Risk Assessment (TRA, HACCP and HAZOP) related to assigned project, including Pre-trial checklist/ Documentation with corresponding e-MOC completion prior to trials

Lead Governance to ensure delivery of project KPI’s

Business Partner with Factory Director for development of the capex program and program management

Development and maintenance of good stakeholder relationships

Experience Required:

ESSENTIAL

10+ Years experience of Project Engineering in FMCG / related Industry or gained in an engineering consultancy environment

5+ years’ operating in a management capacity

Significant Project Management experience

Good to have attained Professional Engineer Status (Or member of professional institution)

Firsthand experience / track record of delivering major (€Multi Million) capital projects within Unilever or similar FMCG environment
