Key Accountabilities
· Plan, Create, Review and distribute approved production plan in IFS for production departments and work centers according to shipping schedules.
· Develop forecasts and plans to ensure attainable schedules and released on-time to meet customer requirements.
· Partner with production to ensure attainable schedules are released on-time to meet customer requirements.
· Works with shipping/material clerk to ensure that all transactions are entered correctly, and timely into IFS.
· Plan and schedule subcontractors for outside parts processing through EDI released on weekly basis.
· Track KPI's included, but not limited to on-time delivery and premium freights, on a daily/weekly basis, seeking continual improvement opportunities.
· Inventory management, maintain target inventory level for raw and finished good products, cycle counting and physical inventory, including physical inventory counts.
· Maintain a safe and well cleaned work environment.
Requirement Skills
· Three (3) years of experience in production/control planning.
· Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practice and procedures.
· Proficient with various computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft 365, MS Teams, and ERP systems.
· Must have excellent communication skills and analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Must be capable of developing reports by conducting queries and using data analysis techniques
. Must be capable of understanding bill of materials structures, demand sources and “where used” analysis.
. Relies on data, common sense, and experience and judgement to define and accomplish SMART goals.
. Leads and directs the work of others.
Educational Requirements
· Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in production planning/operations or related field experience.
· APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred.
