Job Description

 

We are looking for a Material's Winter/Spring Co-Op who will support the Diversified Analog Solutions business unit’s in achieving engineering milestones. This person will coordinate and expedite materials according to production and department priorities. This person will verify and calculate received materials with the corresponding build of material instructions. The Co-Op may be responsible for a variety of material and logistics operations including cycle counting, inventory transactions, shipment processes, and process improvements.

Responsibilities will include the following:

 

Inventory management

Kitting material

Arrange in-plant transfer of materials

Assign locations to build customer samples

Follow up with suppliers on orders

Procure materials for various locations

Manage rentals

Submit purchase requests

Follow up on purchase requests with buyers

Manage various databases

Job Requirements

 

Microsoft Office experience

SAP and Agile experience preferred, but not required

Organized and strong attention to details

Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

Self-started, minimal supervision

The student should be available for the Co-Op term which runs from January 2025 to June 2025 

 

Education

 

The student should be working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in one of the following: Industrial Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management 

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
