Join our Operational Excellence team as Material Change Leader  where you will lead the assessment, prioritization, execution and tracking of key material performance projects under the umbrella of life cycle management, continuous improvement, and COGS optimization workstream. Material Change Leader responsibilities include E2E project management, starting from project feasibility assessment, resources evaluation, payback, changes implications, design timeline and tracking the execution.

Scope will cover Ingredients, packaging components and Supply Chain. This role interacts with and make recommendations to the site's senior leadership, as well as plant management. Material Change Leader will have direct report to KSOL.

This position is viewed as a developmental opportunity leading to a greater responsibility within the Chattanooga CHC/Opella organization.

Main responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of materials development and qualification process for US CHC, from strategic tasks to operational ones like onboarding new vendors.

Prepare and present business cases to stakeholders.

Assess cross-functional resources and evaluate implications for projects.

Design project timelines and ensure excellence in execution.

Liaise with vendors to optimize the purchase portfolio through simplification and standardization.

Anticipate supply risks and establish actions to mitigate them.

Develop continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the total cost of ownership (TCO) throughout the materials lifecycle.

About you

Education: BS in Engineering, Business Management or related STEM Field required. Knowledge and application of Lean/ Six Sigma Skills with proven results.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products: Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Visio, and Outlook.

Strong coaching and facilitation skills: Capable of guiding and supporting team members effectively.

Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills: Able to analyze data, write reports, and communicate clearly.

Ability to engage and influence others: Skilled at motivating and persuading colleagues.

Linking continuous improvement to financial impact: Understanding the financial benefits of process improvements.

Ethical behavior and integrity: Upholding high ethical standards in all business dealings.
