Material Coordinator – Mobile Maintenance/Fleet Management Location MD - Aberdeen Proving Grounds Job Code 12583 # of openings 1 Apply Now (https://phg.tbe.taleo.net/phg04/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=AKIMEKATECH&cws=43&rid=12583) The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Material Coordinator – Mobile Maintenance/Fleet Management to support our government customer located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: + Shall be responsible for conducting various tasks to include Mobile Asset tracking, yearly maintenance scheduling, work orders, data collection, fleet usage, repairs, and Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) Density Listing. + Shall be familiar with GSA Leased Vehicle Policy and Standards. + Shall maintain both hard copy files and an electric mobile asset database to include vital equipment data (VIN, Make, Model, Year, etc.) as well as pictures of such assets. + Shall dispatch mobile fleet monthly utilizing internal & external procedures. + Shall track DoD & GSA License Plate requirements and expiration dates. + Shall input and track the usage of the fleet by documenting mileage, fuel consumption, and required data. + Shall perform on-site Mobile Asset Inspections and document such inspections through internal procedures. + Shall assist with fleet key inventory. + Shall assist with fuel key inventory. + Shall perform database entry and cataloging within the Defense Property Accountable System (DPAS)- Mobile Module as well as other identified systems when appropriate. + Shall follow directions from Supervisor and Government Leadership while also able to work independently and as part of a team and adhere to policies. + Shall support customer schedules in scheduling repairs and annual requirements. + Shall track the monthly usage of all vehicles utilizing internal procedures and processes. + Shall maintain records for accountability and to an audit standard. + Shall support excellence in customer service and deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customer while having the ability to work collaboratively to build professional working relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and customers. + Shall identify safety concerns to Supervisor and other required stakeholders. + Shall assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to Government Lead when requested. + Shall provide and assist with required monthly data to Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix of all related matters. + Shall make sure that all administrative functions/paperwork is in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders, or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format. + Shall be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail. + Shall support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY. REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: + Minimum of (2) Years of Fleet Management Experience, Associates of Arts Degree, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s License or + Minimum of (4) Years of Fleet Management Experience, High School Diploma/GED, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s License or + Served in the US Military and retained a Logistics – Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in a related capacity for a Minimum of (3) Years, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s License PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: + Primarily Stationary; The work environment occurs primarily in an office setting (75%) of the time. + The Technician is required to perform on-site Mobile Asset Inspections (25%) of the time that can occur in all types of weather and could require both bending and standing positions.
