Material Coordinator
PRIMARY DUTIES
Coordinate the availability of sufficient and appropriate material for application to Primary and finish orders to meet production schedules and achieve defined performance goals.Resolve any discrepancies pertaining to inventory and provide back-up for Billet Provider.Monitor material flow and record information on material received.Monitor, inspect and take corrective action on material with visible substandard quality.Coordinate with production, scheduling and technical personnel on changes to order requirements, initiate order changes and update paperwork and systems.Verify availability of material for upcoming cycles, expediting or substituting material as necessary to meet production schedule.Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.REQUIREMENTS
