The Material Coordinator (ASP) coordinates and expedites flow of explosive material, ammunition, parts, and general supplies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisor or customer priorities.
Responsibilities
Reviews issue/draw, turn-in schedules and confers with department supervisors and Military Liaison to determine material required or overdue and to locate material, requisitions material and establishes delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and forecasted availability of ammunition.
Arranges for magazine transfer of materials to meet utilization schedules, and with department supervisors for issue or turn-in.
Compiles report of quantity and type of ammunition on hand, prepares for move or transport material from one location to another, using hand or industrial truck.
May compile perpetual production records in order to locate ammunition in process of issuing, using manual or computerized system, and maintains stock records.
This position involves working both indoors and outdoors.
Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.

Qualifications
3 years of logistics experience in U.S. Army logistics or transportation procedures.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
High School Diploma / GED.
Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation result and obtain and maintain a CAC.
Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Desired Qualifications:
Ammunition experience.
Keeping accurate record of storage stock.
Preparing stock for customer utilization as well as repackaging upon return.
Work as a member of a high Optempo team, Team player.
Able to learn/operate a 6K forklift, hand truck, ½ ton pickup truck.
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Compensation $21.25.Pay Range (The pay range for this job level is provided as general guidance only, and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
