Material Data Management Analyst (Hybrid)

As the Material Data Management Analyst, you will act as an SAP Power User in the Master Data Governance (MDG) application and will drive data governance, data ownership, and data quality by working with teams in Engineering, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, and IT.  You will execute a structured approach to the collection, creation, and maintenance of material master data and will also be responsible for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and clearly communicating with both the business and IT teams to leverage best practices and enhance system capabilities.

What you will do

Develop competency in the material master application of SAP and identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate, and improve data quality.Manage data requests in support of business processes by approving and validating change requests to ensure accurate data entry of item master data attributes within the SAP MDG application.Serve as a business contact for material master related topics while identifying solutions to Business challenges.Partner with other SAP power users across global community to identify and resolve data gaps and issues with SAP functionality through hands-on testing.Daily responsibilities may include New Product Development, Sustainment activities, as well as Mergers & Acquisitions relating to material setup.Develops an understanding of processes and operational procedures within the commercial business to assist in decision making.Assists with the testing and delivery of solutions for release cycles and/or new projectsDevelop and maintain relationships with business and IT resources to improve data management processes as well as collaborate on system enhancements and reported incidents.

What you need

Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study or 6 years of relevant experience with material management.2+ years of material data or system experience preferred.SAP experience preferred.Experience in an IT help desk or IT support role preferred.Experience with ticketing systems preferred.Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills preferred.Experience with Excel functions, formulas, and filters preferred.

$58,700 - $118,600 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
