Novo Nordisk Pharmatech is looking for a scientist to join our growing Manufacturing Development department.
The position
As a Scientist, you can explore a variety of activities within your job. You will, together with your colleagues, handle and set requirements for our raw materials as well as sales labels for both existing and new products. You will work independently and collaborate cross-functionally across our entire organisation.
You will have a chance to:
Take responsibility for setting requirements for our raw materials and sales labels, ensuring their quality and compliance. Stay updated on material requirements, aligning with industry standards and authority guidelines and regulations for excipients and APIs. Gain knowledge and understand our existing and new products and processes to set the correct requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders in production, support, supply chain, EHS, sales and marketing and our customers to gather essential information. Conduct relevant studies in our R&D laboratory, supporting production optimization and innovation.

Qualifications
You are a scientist with experience within the packaging area from academia or industry. Experience with manufacturing development and process development is an advantage.
Some of the qualities we look for are:
M.Sc. or PhD in engineering, biology, chemistry or similar field within Natural Science. Knowledge and/or experience within chemistry and different chemicals. Knowledge and/or experience with requirement settings for materials. Fluency in both spoken and written English and a willingness to learn Danish.

About the department
The Manufacturing Development department at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech comprises of 40 dedicated employees across three teams. As a Development Scientist, you will be part of a team of 17 scientists and specialists focused on developing and supplying novel materials for therapeutic protein manufacturing in the biopharmaceutical industry. We collaborate closely with our customers to create optimal purification solutions for both new and existing molecules, catering to a wide range of medical conditions.
