We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst - Material Estimator. This position is responsible to improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection and analysis to ensure the company’s supply meets the customers’ demand in relation to completing projects on time and within budget.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provides pricing for material estimating under multiple contract types, to include, but not limited to, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Type, and Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).Supports the entire proposal process from request for proposal (RFP) through the program approval process, proposal submittal, supporting customer requests for information (RFIs). Position will review RFPs and coordinate execution of Supply Chain efforts for proposal preparation inclusive of providing government audit support, fact-finding, negotiation, and the sweep process.Collaborates across multiple functions to prepare and submit first-time quality, compliant, and on-time proposals to support the customer commitments as well as UM’s financial goals.Prices a Consolidated Bill of Material (CBOM) provided from engineering/programming utilizing supplier proposals/quotes, PO history, engineering estimates, etc.Ensures compliant, quality basis of estimates and documentation to support.Analyzes data to identify and address risks and opportunities for improvement of efficiency, cost reduction and timely delivery of products.Prepares and supports presentations and approval of material estimates at the required approval value level. Prepares price analysis for all quotes/proposal on CBOM over $2M.Assists in preparation of Supply Chain Cost Volume in support of customer proposals ensuring compliance and quality.Collects and analyzes sourcing data to reduce costs and increase efficiency.  Includes pricing indexes.

Basic Qualifications

Program Controls experience with data analysis, reporting and/or process improvementExperience with EV tools within a finance capacityExperience with SAP Business Systems / BW Toolset or similar business systemsExperience with Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word and PowerPoint

Education/Experience

Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and 4+ years related experienceOr Associate Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and 6+ years related experience.May be required to maintain security clearance.
