Job Summary

 

Normandy Products is seeking material handlers. The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Monitor the press continually for signs of malfunction and depletion of raw materials

Train new press operators

Perform press operator duties for scheduled breaks

Remove scrap boxes from the presses when full and dump contents

Assemble cardboard cartons using the pneumatic staple gun and tape gun

Label and stack boxes

Transport finished product from production to warehouse using pallet jack

Keep machines fully stocked

Scan raw materials to and from production areas

Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

 

Job Requirements

 

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Press operator experience a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically throughout the day

 

Compensation

 

The starting pay rate for this position is $18.00/hour
